2018 Honda CB Hornet with ABS & LED Headlight to Launch in a Few Days

2018 Honda CB Hornet ABS was recently showcased at Auto Expo 2018. As per the latest details available, Honda will launch the upgraded model of Hornet 160R in India in a few days. Seems like Honda is on a launching spree as they recently launched the 2018 models of Livo, CB Shine, CB Shine SP, Activa (5G), CBR250R, and Dream Yuga in India.

Along with Anti-Lock Braking System, 2018 model of CB Hornet also gets LED headlights within the redesigned front fascia. It now looks sharper than ever and gets Hornet branding within the low and high beam section. Like most brands in this segment, Honda is offering single channel ABS on their 2018 Hornet. Honda will also offer a new Dazzle Yellow Metallic shade with updated body graphics for CB Hornet ABS.

Apart from these visible changes, Honda CB Hornet stays exactly the same in terms of performance. It is powered by a 162.71cc, single cylinder, air cooled and carburetor fed engine producing 14.9 BHP at 8500 rpm and 14.5 Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Addition of ABS makes this model the first from its segment to get advanced safety on-board. Additionally, LED lights are also available exclusively on CB Hornet ABS as others like Yamaha FZ series and Suzuki Gixxer use non-ABS disc brakes and halogen headlights as standard.

CB Hornet ABSA report even claims that CB Hornet will now be available with standard, CBS and ABS equipped variants. This means those with strict budget could also enjoy the CB Hornet experience through the decently loaded variant.
