Akrapovic has launched a carbon-fibre slip-on exhaust for the 2019 Honda CB300R. The exhaust has been manufactured to enhance the sporty look of the streetfighter, offering a reduction in weight as another benefit with the package. The side profile now looks more neat and light in comparison to the stock version while the image as seen here also loses on other important parts like the rear fender from the motorcycle.
The tail looks thin while carbon fibre finish adds a further sporty factor to the CB300R. The weight difference between the stock and custom exhaust unit is 68.1%. The power improvement was not mentioned in the official reveal video while one can expect a bump in the overall power-to-weight ratio by a considerable margin. Akrapovic also offers an exhaust for the Apache RR 310 at INR 55,000 (including taxes) while the one for the CB300R costs slightly above the $500 mark (INR 36,000 approx, excluding taxes).
