Recently, Honda 2-Wheelers India launched the H’ness CB350 Anniversary Edition at the event of IBW 2021, held on December 4th at Aamby Valley near Lonavala in Maharashtra, starting at Rs 2.03 lakh. The bike has gone through a complete overhaul in terms of cosmetic features and is different from the standard model and now looks even more appealing. The new version is powered by the same 348.36cc single-cylinder engine generating 21 BHP of max power and 30 Nm of max torque teamed up with a 5-speed transmission.
In addition to that, it comes with an elegant makeover and has been given a Honda themed 3D golden emblem on the fuel tank with golden stripes embedded with the name “H” near the fuel lid. The front and rear mudguards are the same colour as the body. The brown seat is now split, the side-stand is chromed. Apart from these cosmetic changes, it is similar to the standard H’ness with a slight price hike and comes with Bluetooth connectivity.
This 181 kg bike gives the vibes of the good old days and is available in 2 flavours: Matt Marshal Green Metallic and Pearl Igneous Black, which is the special edition of the Japanese brand’s retro-style motorcycle, has some mind-boggling touchups which make it stand out from the crowd of the other available variants.
Other than that, according to some of the reports, Honda may start the production of the Honda CB300R in the local market. As the bike wasn’t complying with the BS6 norms, it was removed by the company from its website and from that moment there was no official sign of its launch in the market. It might use an updated version of the earlier 286cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine.
With the BS4 format, its engine was capable of generating 30 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 27.4 Nm of max torque at 6,500 rpm in collaboration with a 6-speed transmission. The power and torque output ranges of the BS6 engine may oscillate in the same range. The BS6 version of the Honda CB300R is expected to come with disc brakes at both ends and a dual-channel ABS unit.
