New Honda CBF190R Streetfighter Patented in India

According to recent reports, the Honda CBF190R patent has been filed by the brand at the Indian Patents office. Honda two-wheelers currently feature a host of 190cc motorcycles under its portfolio, most of which are only available for sale in the Chinese markets. The brand had filed the patent for the design of the motorcycle back in June 2019 while the journal date was due on March 6, 2020. Filing for the patent in the Indian market doesn’t guarantee the launch of the Honda CBF190R streetfighter in India though the chances seem rather high. There has been no official confirmation received from the brand as of yet while the company is expected to be evaluating the launch for the later stage. It will be interesting to see how the 190cc streetfighter would make an impact on the Indian markets. The new model of the motorcycle is powered by a 184.4cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, air-cooled engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 16.62 HP @ 8000 rpm and a peak torque of 16.3 Nm @ 7000 rpm. The motorcycle is capable of registering a company-claimed top speed of 107 kmph while its fuel tank capacity stands at 12 litres. Like the rest of the new-gen street bikes, the Honda CBF190R is also equipped with an all-digital instrument console. The motorcycle has been imparted a unique design language with sharper body panels accentuating the modern profile further. The motorcycle features golden USD forks at the front while a petal disc brake setup has been imparted on either side. The Honda CBF190R features a single-channel ABS as standard in addition to getting a hazard light for additional safety. The brand has recently also unveiled the Honda CBF190X in the Chinese markets while the launch of the 190R on the Indian shores will sure get the enthusiasts excited.
