5 Reasons Why Honda CBR250R is the Best 250cc Bike in India

Honda recently launched the updated 2018 model of CBR250R in India and it is quite an impressive bike. While the design remained exactly the same as before, the optional ABS that is offered makes the bike a good value for its money. There are new paint schemes and better-LED lights used on the bike as well. If you are in the market, considering to spend nearly INR 2 lakh, the 2018 Honda CBR250R is a great option for you.

5 Reasons Why CBR250R is the Best 250cc Bike

1) Design & Style

The overall design of the bike is very proportionate and it is still one of the best-looking full-faired sport bikes in India. There are new twin LED headlights and a beastly look on the bike that has not gotten old. The fairing of the bike extends in all the right places. Overall, the CBR250R would be a stand-out among the crowds and an instant attention grabber.

2) Wide Honda Network

Honda has one of the largest networks in India. There are dealerships and service centres in all the major cities. You can travel long distances or move to a different city and take your bike along with you, not having to worry about the presence of a Honda dealer near you.

3) Refined Engine

Honda CBR250R features a 249.6cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke DOHC 4-valve SI engine with fuel injection. The engine pushes maximum power of 26.5 hp at 8500 rpm and peak torque of 22.9 Nm at 7000 rpm through a 6-speed manual transmission. On paper, the bike is able to provide a combined fuel efficiency of 35 kmpl. It accelerates from rest to 100 kmph in just 8.9 seconds and has a top speed of 145 kmph.

4) Super Reliable

Honda bikes are quite reliable and the CBR250R is no exception to this rule. The company fits their bikes with parts of good quality. Honda prides on making bikes that last longer than most others in the market. Recently, a CBR250R owner posted an ad on Team-BHP Classifieds, stating that he wants to sell his motorcycle. This is what the owner says: “It is a Honda and has got me bored, it is just so reliable and I am looking for a change now.”

5) Excellent Value For Money

The standard CBR250R is available at a price of INR 1.64 lakh while the one equipped with 2-channel ABS comes at a slightly higher price of INR 1.94 lakh. The affordability of the bike in this segment makes it a wise choice for final consideration. In comparison, the KTM RC 200 is priced at INR 1.77 lakh, and that too without ABS. Another option in this segment is Apache RR 310 at INR 2.23 lakh, but Honda is a much better and reliable brand in comparison to TVS.
