Special Edition Honda CBR250RR ‘The Art of Kabuki’ was recently launched in Indonesia for 70.82 million Indonesian Rupiah (approx INR 3,40,200). This quarter liter sport bike carries the traditional Japanese dance/drama theme as they dress up and apply the same theme makeup for Kabuki.
Honda offered a red frame, black suspension components and different paint scheme on both the wheels. ‘Art of Kabuki’ CBR250RR will be limited to just 100 units in Indonesia. Honda feels that this special edition theme will helps riders increase their emotional touch with their bike. Mechanically, this Honda CBR250RR remains exactly the same as its standard version.
The 249.7cc, twin cylinder engine on CBR250RR is good for 38.2 BHP at 12,500 rpm and 23.3 Nm at 11,000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Honda claims a top speed of 179 kmph and that makes CBR250RR as the most powerful quarter liter motorcycle around the world.
CBR250RR comes with a 14.5 liter fuel tank and could command a price tag of around INR 3.25 lakh if launched in India. Currently, Honda has no plans to launch a CBR series sport bike in India as they have cleared their plans of introducing an all-new sub 400cc motorcycle and focus more on commuter product sales in the country.
