Honda Cliq Launched in Maharashtra @ INR 43,076

Honda Cliq scooter was previously introduced in Rajasthan on June 20, 2017. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has now finally launched Honda Cliq in Maharashtra. Incidentally the state is also country’s biggest scooter market. Honda will pitch the scooter to a large urban audience in the region.

Honda Cliq is a new lightweight scooter in the 110cc segment. It carries the engine also used in Honda Navi and Activa 4G. The scooter features an unconventional design with a hybrid-moto type feel. The handlebars are placed above the front portion which gives it a sporty feel.

Honda Cliq is powered by a 109.19cc engine which generates a maximum power of 8 bhp @ 7000 rpm and produces a maximum torque of 8.94 Nm @ 5500 rpm. The scooter has a top speed of 83 kmph and has a ground clearance of 154 mm. The modern scooter takes performance advantage from its 102 kg weight.

It comes with a seat height of 743 mm, which makes it comfortable for most of the riders. The scooter is manufactured at Honda Tapukara facility at Rajasthan. It also has an easily customizable design with standard features. It is equipped with first in the segment block pattern tubeless tyres, combined braking system and maintenance free battery.

The attractive scooter also gets some optical accessories such as front screen, floor covers, center box, cap covers and rear grip. The scooter is set to give good competition to the likes of TVS Scooty Zest and Yamaha Ray Z in the segment. Feature wise, the model offers nothing new but scores on the merit of being a Honda product.
