Honda CMX1100T Rebel Unveiled – Details and Official Photos

Apart from unveiling brand-new models like the EM1 e: electric scooter and the XL750 Transalp. Honda also announced changes to its existing product lineup. For select models, these included styling updates, new variants, and new paint schemes, one of which was the new CMX1100T Rebel.

The new variant of the 1100 Rebel series is designed to make long-distance riding more practical. The new fairing with an integrated flyscreen provides advanced weather protection. While the hard panniers provide up to 35 litres of storage. The stripped-down look of the standard 1100 with the exposed frame and darkened finish cosmetics remains.

Honda does include a Tour pack with the standard 1100 Rebel. It has soft panniers and a rear backrest but does not include the front fairing. The standard 1100 Rebel comes with a front cowl with a flyscreen as an option. It is a different unit than the one found on the new tourer.

The mechanical setup of the Rebel 1100T is identical to the previous model. A 1084cc liquid-cooled parallel twin produces a max power of 85.8 bhp and 98 Nm of peak torque. The suite of electronic rider aids is also unchanged. The standard 1100 Rebel can be ordered with either a manual or DCT transmission. But the new CMX1100T Rebel will come standard with a DCT.
