Honda CRF150L Launched in Indonesia: Honda CRF150L was recently launched in Indonesia at IDR 31.8 million (INR 1.50 lakh approx). The production version for 2017 GIIAS concept is quite watered down and comes with standard Red/White theme as other Honda bikes.
What makes it exclusive is the use components that just not only looks good but even performs equally good on all kinds of surfaces. Sadly, the engine is Euro 3 compliant and thus, lowers its chance of making it into the Indian market. The 149cc, single cylinder air cooled engine comes with fuel injection for added refinement and better all weather performance.
The engine on Honda CRF150L is good for 12.91 PS at 8000 rpm and 12.43 Nm at 6500 rpm. The torque loaded, lightweight performer comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It claims 39.3 kmpl of overall mileage while fuel tank can carry 7.3 liters in single refill.
The motorcycle is road ready and comes equipped with standard features like headlight, taillight, indicators and number plate holder. Honda offers Showa long travel (225mm) USD forks at the front while rear gets monoshock with 207mm of extensive travel. Front and rear braking is handled by 240 mm and 220 mm petal disc brakes respectively.
The under-seat exhaust used on Honda CRF150L is from Yoshimura while off-road specific tyres measuring 80/100-21 for the front and 100/100-18 for the rear are in use. Being the most effective motorcycle in the CRF lineup, Honda claims to sell more than 14000 units of the CRF150L annually.
