Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India (HSMI) has patented the design of the motorcycle which the company is planning to launch under the name CRF190L. The patent news makes it sure that the company will soon be launching this motorcycle in the Indian markets. CRF190L is Honda’s entry-level motorcycle which made its global debut in September 2021 and it is the entry-level adventure motorcycle in Honda’s global lineup.
Speaking of design, the CRF190L comes with a rectangular shaped headlamp, circular-shaped rearview mirror, single-piece seat setup, side-mounted exhaust system, sturdy grab rail, long windscreen, luggage rack, and unique body graphics. The seat height of the 145kg Honda CRF190L is 830mm and the ground clearance is 240mm.
Talking about the powertrain details of the Honda CRF190L, it generates a power output of 17.3 PS and a max torque of 16.1 Nm and comes with a five-speed transmission. Features include 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, which are wrapped in dual-purpose tyres, including disc brakes at both ends, telescopic front forks, mono-shock rear suspension. This motorcycle will rival Hero XPulse 200 if the company decides to price the motorcycle competitively.
