According to recent reports, the Honda CT125 is all set to be launched at the Honda Virtual Motor Show that has been scheduled by the brand on March 27, 2020. Since the recent coronavirus pandemic situation has caused the cancellation of the Tokyo Motor Show as well as the Osaka Motor Show, Honda has decided to organise a virtual launch event that will cater to the launch of CT125, the Super Cub 110 Special Edition and the revealing of the 2020 Honda CBR250RR with a new colour scheme.
The brand has officially listed the Honda CT125 as the CT125 Hunter Cub on its official website which indicates the new brand name for the updated moped variant. The official images of the moped further confirm that the final production variant is similar to the one showcased at 2019’s Tokyo Motor Show.
The brand has specifically designed the Honda CT125 with some off-road features which include the likes of a steel front fender as well as the higher position offered to the exhaust unit. According to the brand, the all-new moped is capable of offering better trekking experience with a list of functional features that will allow the rider to enjoy riding it in the outdoors.
The brand is expected to launch the Honda CT125 initially in Japan followed by other international markets though, the probability of its Indian launch is somewhat negligible at the time. Honda is expected to launch the other products in the Indian markets that will be revealed in parallel to the CT125 at the virtual launch event. The brand is further expected to showcase a list of 29 products under its portfolio at the upcoming event on March 27, 2020, though most of them are expected to be the existing products. More reports on the event are expected to follow shortly.
