All-New Honda Grazia Launched in India: Honda Grazia was recently launched in India for INR 57,897 (ex-showroom). The eye catchy scooter is one of its kind offering in the Indian market as LED headlights have been introduced for the first time on a scooter. Honda designed the same be keeping in mind the influence that sporty scooters have on Indian customers.
The headlight was selected to get a belly placement instead of the conventional handlebar mounted unit. This further helped them create a fascia that looks rich and aggressive when compared to any other scooter with this sort of arrangement. Grazia really feels smart from every possible angle.
Honda is using a motorcycle inspired handlebar section that creates a vision of faux windscreen in its center section. These sort of design inclusions make Grazia a desirable product for urban audience with a bigger budget over Activa 125.
Side profile hints at Yamaha Ray ZR rivalry as an added step into the front section creates a premium moto scooter feel. Front wheel is 12 inch and thus, no complaints can be made on its existence. Still, Honda uses the same 10 inch wheel as Activa on the rear end.
Engine powering Honda Grazia is a tried and tested, 124.9cc air cooled unit producing 8.52 BHP at 6500 rpm and 10.54 Nm at 5000 rpm. It comes mated to the same automatic gearbox that is on use in Activa 125. Honda has cleverly integrated storage spaces into its front section, making Grazia very effective when compared to other two wheelers in the same segment.
The sharp rear section further complements its overall built and without any confusion, Honda has another strong seller on its side in the 2017 lineup. Refinement will be served with a slight mix of sportiness on the new Grazia for sure. Honda Grazia is available in 3 variants:
- Grazia with Steel Wheels: INR 57,897
