Honda Officially Teases All-New Upcoming Scooter

Honda has released the first official teaser for its ‘all-new scooter’ in India. The image hints for an automatic headlight equipped scooter with LED Day-time Running Lights (DRLs) that can be placed at a premium point in the company lineup. It’s Frontastic, as the caption reads, would definitely mean that most amazing changes could be seen on the front end of the scooter itself. The new scooter will even carry a BS4 compliant engine for upcoming strict emission norms.

This new teaser image hints about the basic design of this scooter, which will definitely be inspired from the best selling Activa 3G in the company lineup. The main headlamp will be placed within the handlebar assembly while the DRLs will wrap around the thick chrome bar in the lower body section. Certain sources are even hinting that the new product will launch very soon, most probably in the month of March 2017.

Honda is the best selling brand when it comes to automatic scooters in India. They will be updating their complete scooter lineup with BS4 compliant engines in the coming weeks. The engines in use are 110cc and 125cc, both currently complying with BS3 emission norms. The prices will even witness marginal hike with increase in equipment cost. Government will soon ban the sales of 2-wheelers that are BS3 compliant.
