India-Made Honda Navi Launched in the US for $1,807 (Rs 1.34 Lakh)

Honda has recently launched its Navi two-wheeler in the United States of America. This two-wheeler, which was originally designed for countries such as India, has now made its way to one of the world’s largest and most popular bike marketplaces. The two-wheeler was earlier introduced in India, but the brand had to discontinue it owing to poor sales. Indian bike lovers didn’t show much interest in its design and styling.

Speaking of the design and colour scheme, the US-spec Navi stays essentially unchanged, with the only alterations being new turn indicators and a minimally redesigned instrument cluster that now incorporates MPH indications for the speedometer. Honda Navi is available in four attractive colour choices – Red, Grasshopper Green, Nut Brown, and Ranger Green. Moreover, the two-wheeler comes with an integrated storage area for carrying a laptop or lunch box. This two-wheeler is well-known for its small size and low seat height. The Navi is being marketed by the manufacturer as a two-wheeler that might be used as an urban companion.

While looking at the powertrain, the US-spec model of Honda Navi has a 109cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine that is mated with an automatic CVT transmission. Currently, the two-wheeler is available at a price of $1,807, which is equivalent to 1.34 lakh Indian Rupees. This two-wheeler comes in as one of the most affordable bikes in the US market. At present, the brand is working on new models and if the Navi goes well in the US, Honda can send more India-developed two-wheelers to the United States in the future.
