Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade has undergone the 2017 treatment, receiving all those changes that may help it achieve a special status among other liter class motorcycles. Carrying a sharper design than all other Honda 2017 CBR models, 1000RR comes with a new front fascia with LED lights.
The motorcycle gets effective performance updates in the form of weight loss and a brand new engine. The 998cc, inline 4 engine on the CBR1000RR Fireblade is good for 193.1 BHP at 13,000 rpm and 114 Nm of torque at 11,000 rpm. The weight loss of around 14 kg further makes it better in overall acceleration and performance.

CBR1000RR Fireblade comes with better parts like 43 mm USD forks with preload, compression and rebound adjustment, Pro-link rear balance free cushion, aluminum composite twin spar diamond frame and 6-speed multiplate clutch with slipper assist. Honda offers the same in Matte Ballistic Black Metallic and Victory Red shades.
Apart from the standard variant, the new CBR1000RR Fireblade also offers two high performance variants named SP and SP2 for the motorcycle. It may be soon brought to India through the CBU route and would rival Yamaha YZF-R1, BMW S1000RR, Kawasaki ZX-10R and Suzuki GSX-R1000 in its segment.
