Repsol Edition Honda Hornet Walkaround Video by MRD Vlogs: Honda 2-Wheelers India recently launched the Repsol model of Hornet street motorcycle with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.29 lakhs. Mechanically, there are no changes and the new model is powered by the same 184.4cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, air-cooled, BS6-compliant engine which is good for a maximum power of 17 HP at 8500 rpm along with a peak torque of 16.1 Nm at 6000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

In terms of looks, the motorcycle features Repsol livery all around with bold ‘Hornet’ logo and ‘Repsol’ badges on the fuel tank, front fender, and even on the rear cowl. In addition to the graphics and stickers, the Hornet Repsol edition is also equipped with orange alloy wheels to set it apart from the standard model, which features black alloy wheels. Coming to the hardware components, Honda Hornet 2.0 Repsol edition features the same USD (Upside Down) front forks in premium golden paint finish as the standard version of the motorcycle. The braking performance of the bike is handled by a 276mm front disc brake and a 220mm rear disc brake.

Honda has equipped the Hornet 2.0 with a single-channel ABS unit though we were expecting them to offer a dual-channel ABS unit at this price point. The street motorcycle is equipped with a 110/70-17 tyre at the front end while the rear end features a wide 140/70-17 tyre.
