Hop OXO Electric Motorcycle Launched in India at Rs 1.25 Lakh

Hop electric 2-wheeler brand has announced the launch of the OXO electric motorcycle. It has been launched in the Indian market with prices starting from Rs. 1.25 Lakh.

The variants of this fresh electric motorcycle are known as Standard and X. The base variant is available at Rs. 1.25 lakh. However, the high-level variant is priced at Rs. 1.40 lakh. These prices have been calculated after deducting the FAME-2 benefits.

Both variants of the Hop OXO e-bike are equipped with a 5-inch digital display. Some of the other key features of this electric motorcycle include an IP67 rating, multimode regenerative braking, a 3.75kW lithium-ion battery pack, 4G connectivity and a devoted mobile phone application.

The smartphone application provided here will give access to many features. It would include speed control, geo-fencing, an anti-theft system as well as ride statistics. The base model comes with around three ride modes. These are named Eco, Power and Sport. On the other side, the X version benefits from an added Turbo mode, which is highlighted as its star feature.

The OXO X model is also said to be achieving a top speed of about 90 kmph. Moreover, the 0-40kmph acceleration time stands to be at around 4 seconds. The Hop OXO functions on a 72V architecture. The Hop OXO X model gets a 6.3 kW electric motor which is able to deliver 200 Nm of peak torque.

In fact, the latest Hop OXO electric motorcycle is now available for sale from the brand’s experience centre as well as through its website. So commenting on the event of the launch of this all-new product, Ketan Mehta, the CEO and Founder of HOP Electric Mobility mentioned a validated comment.
