Walkaround Video of India-Spec Husqvarna Vitpilen 401

Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 was spotted in a video that was shot on an Indian highway. The motorcycle is seen with complete camouflage, revealing just the Orange alloy wheels and WP USD front forks for the viewers. The motorcycle is seen with an identical round headlight as the international version, clearing the fact that only change seen will be on the rear with the addition of a grab rail and saree guard. The motorcycle seen in the video comes with a different exhaust design in comparison to the KTM models, clearing the fact that sharing will be limited to the frame, suspension, tires and engine only.

The fuel tank is flat and the seat seems higher than most motorcycles around this segment. The rear monoshock is also identical to the one seen on KTM models. The seat seems inspired by the motocross models. The console is partially camouflaged but buyers can expect a completely digital console for the model. As the pricing is expected to be on the higher side, Husqvarna will use premium elements on the body to differentiate itself from the KTM 390 Duke series. Vitpilen 401 is seen with short fenders, wide and relaxed handlebar, 320mm front disc and dual-channel ABS. The short tail section helps them claim a premium status in comparison to other bikes of the segment.

Vitpilen 401 is powered by a 373cc, liquid cooled and fuel injected single cylinder engine producing 43.5 HP and 37 Nm. The output is quite impressive for a motorcycle of the Vitpilen category as it seems light from the number of components on use. The powerful Duke engine, along with the sporty setup of the frame, has helped Vitpilen and Svartpilen gain international recognition in a short period of time. The components are shared between all the bikes, reducing the overall cost of the Husqvarna motorcycles and making them profitable for the parent brand.
