Evoke 6061, the motorcycle that is said to take on the future of all-electric cruisers in the international market has got 271 Nm of torque packed in its eco-friendly motor. The setup has been tuned in such a way that peak power for the motorcycle is rated at 160 HP (120 kW).
The motorcycle will rival the Harley Davidson Livewire with its powerful motor, further bringing premium cruiser stance to the game with a wide handlebar and front LED lights fitted in the retro-modern round casing. The images available for the Evoke 6061 shows spoke wheels and single seat riding configuration. The codename for the motorcycle is Kruzer while the Indian market will not see the same coming in the first phase.
The brand is preparing Project M1 for cost-sensitive markets and they will definitely consider the Indian audience for their upcoming model that will be lightweight, practical and affordable for sure. The Evoke 6061 will come with a 10-inch display for the console purpose while navigation and smartphone connectivity is a must-have feature.
This is what the CEO of Evoke Motorcycles, Nathan Siy, had to say about the progress: “The modules are permanently fixed and make up a semi-structural component of the bike. Charging currently works with DC Fast Charge in China and we will be integrating with CCS in the US and Europe by the time we’ll ship. With electric powertrain and battery manufacturing taking place solely in China (i.e. all of Zero’s and the Strike’s components are coming from China), it gives us a solid supply chain pathway for the creation of this bike. So being in China with an international design team really puts us a few steps ahead of the other guys. It also allows us to prototype quickly and cost-effective compared to doing this in the US or anywhere else.”
