Indian Motorcycles is the next big brand to bring prices down by a considerable margin. The best part is that their entire lineup comes through CBU route, same as seen with the BMW lineup of India. The range now starts at INR 10,99,500 for Scout Sixty and goes up to INR 39,00,000 for range topping Indian Roadmaster.
Recently launched Scout Bobber got itself a price cut of INR 1 lakh and now can be bought for INR 11.99 lakh. All prices mentioned here are ex-showroom India. The duty cut from 75% to 50% has resulted in INR 3 lakh of price drop in case of Roadmaster.
Indian Scout now costs INR 12,69,500 and maintains gap of INR 1.70 lakh with Indian Scout Sixty. The range suddenly jumps to INR 18.81 lakh for Indian Chief Dark Horse. Not just the range but also the engine size jumps from 999cc and 1133cc to Thunderstroke 111 (1811cc).
This huge engine is good for 150 Nm of class leading torque at just 2900 rpm. Those looking for a Bagger can now get Chief Vintage for INR 25,32,500. Buyers get the same engine ut additional baggage and features make long distance riding an easier task on this range.
Both Chieftain and Springfield belong to the Bagger tribe and thus, getting any one out of these three will leave you without a full back seat. The difference in all three of them ranges from soft to hard bags and much more. Indian Roadmaster is the only option available with a fully functional rear seat and comes powered by popular Thunderstroke 111 engine producing 150 Nm at just 2900 rpm.
