Ultraviolette F77 has a steel trellis frame with an aluminium bulkhead. It draws inspiration from jet fighters for its sharp styling. The company reworked the handlebar height and lowered the seat height to make the bike more accommodating for riders of all sizes.
Ultraviolette F77 is powered by a PMS direct drive motor. The F77 Original is good for 36.2 HP and 85 Nm while the Recon variant has a max power output of 38.8 HP and a peak torque of 95 Nm. The F77 is available in two fixed battery configurations: 7.1 kWh and 10.3 kWh, with 21700 format cells. On either battery pack, the bike promises a range of 206 km or 307 km (IDC). The 10.3 kWh battery pack is the largest seen on an Indian electric two-wheeler.
The suspension is handled by 41mm USD front forks and an adjustable rear mono-shock. Braking is handled by a 320mm front disc with a 4-piston calliper and a 230mm rear disc with a single-piston calliper. The ABS system comes as standard and is manufactured by Bosch.
The F77 has a 5″ TFT screen and a slew of smart features. Geofencing, ride analytics, vehicle locator, crash detection, and other features are available. All these features are smartphone compatible and accessible via a smartphone app.
Ultraviolette F77 was created in a factory in Bengaluru. In the same city, the first experience centre will open. The Ultraviolette F77 will be available for sale in January 2023. They intend to expand the dealer network with experience centres planned in various cities.
