Autologue Design is here with an impressive rendering of Jawa 42 Cafe Racer. The digitally-rendered image looks heart-melting and nostalgic for those who are in love with the retro-modern appeal of Jawa 42 and have a dream of putting a neat fairing around the headlight for an impressive highway ride.
The Jawa 42 Cafe Racer features a single seat and has been equipped with a rear cowl while the motorcycle has been rendered with Bridgestone Battlax tyres. The front end of the motorcycle features a perfectly-fitted fairing that can be seen connected with the fuel tank. The handlebar section has clip-on bars while the fuel tank has a dedicated knee area on the Jawa 42 Cafe Racer.
It is expected that Autologue Design will not alter the fuel tank dynamics as a part of this standard kit. The same has not entered production as the modifier is gauging the customer response before working on the production version.
Autologue Design has worked on numerous projects that add practical components to the production-spec motorcycles available in India. The conversion of Bajaj Dominar into Domivel and the KTM Duke series into a premium streetfighter gave them the much-required attention of the motorcycle enthusiasts in India.
Classic Legends is also expected to work on more models based on the Jawa platform, hinting towards a production-spec cafe racer in the future, most probably next year. Jawa 42 can serve as the perfect base model for a cafe racer, both in the modification world and the company-made product list.
Jawa 42 is powered by a 293cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which is good for a maximum power of 27 BHP and a maximum torque of 28 Nm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission. Jawa can also use the Perak’s bigger 334cc engine on the Cafe Racer model to achieve an impressive output.
