Jawa 42 Officially Launched in India @ INR 1.55 Lakh

Jawa 42 has been officially launched in India for INR 1.55 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The motorcycle was clearly designed to attract the buyers who look for Jawa emblem under a modern motorcycle. Some of the highlights include bar end rear-view mirrors, black suspension covers, lower positioned headlight and independent single console placed to the right side. The front fender is slimmer in comparison to the standard Jawa 300 while rear remains almost similar with just matte finish to the fender.

Jawa 42 Front 3-Quarter

Jawa Forty Two is available in Nebula Blue, Comet Red, Starlight Blue, Lumos Lime, Galactic Green, and Halley’s Teal. The impressive instrument console comes with small oval digital odometer while fuel indicator and speedometer stay analog. The engine also comes with matching black section to complement the motorcycle’s overall modern approach. The front disc brake stays 280mm with ABS while rear misses on the feature with just a 153mm drum brake.

Jawa 42 Rear 3-Quarter

Forty Two is priced INR 9,000 lower than the Jawa 300, giving buyers one clean chance of owning modern Ducati Scrambler style machine with Triumph Bonneville like comfort. The fuel tank stays common between both the classic and modern variant, looking slightly different due to the selection of colors and their placement. The motorcycle rivals Royal Enfield Classic 350 in India, further targeting options like Honda CBR250R and Yamaha FZ25 due to a more powerful engine.
