Jawa Motorcycles are almost ready for the first batch of customers and before the brand starts the process, an official statement clearing the air over the resale of Jawa booking ID on OLX has been released. Jawa claims the booking ID to be non-transferable and selling the same at a higher price to someone else will not benefit the buyer at all.
The purchase can be made on the same name and address as mentioned in the booking chart, leaving the deal as nothing more than a failed trick of jumping the queue by some fans who are not willing to wait till August 2019. The range of Jawa motorcycles starts at INR 1.55 lakh and goes up to INR 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Here is the official tweet by the brand regarding the Jawa booking IDs being sold on OLX:
“Some online listings are cropping up selling #Jawa bookings in black for fat premiums! #JawaBookings are non-transferable and we will act in the best customer interests to deliver early to #GenuineBuyers. Bookings are open at all dealers for the #foreverbike. #JawaMotorcycles”
