Jawa Dealerships Restart Operations: Since the new lockdown relaxations have allowed the manufacturing and industrial plants to resume their operations across various parts of the country, Classic Legends via their social media channels have announced that selected Jawa dealerships have also resumed the operations.
Even though the brands have been allowed to resume their operations at the dealerships, everything is to be done according to the new social distancing and health guidelines made mandatory by the government to ensure the welfare and safety of the employees. The team at the Jawa dealerships has undergone selective training to follow the social distancing parameters as well as hygiene and sanitation rules as stated by the government guidelines.
The staff at the dealerships is expected to follow a seven-step safety protocol which includes proper sanitation of the dealership premises, the test drive vehicles as well as the other display vehicles. The employees at the service stations must follow proper sanitation rules as well. Every customer and employee entering the dealership will be thermally screened and the customers will be entertained based on the appointment as well as get priority support.
The staff at the dealerships has been trained according to the new social distancing norms and hygiene protocols. The customers will be catered with digital documentation to follow proper social distancing while the dealership is also offering digital support via Whatsapp, email as well as calling. In addition to this, the customers can also request for doorstep test rides and motorcycle’s delivery.
The nationwide lockdown to curb the COVID-19 pandemic has ultimately affected the production line of the Jawa motorcycle due to which the brand has recently stopped its delivery estimator at its website. The current Jawa portfolio in the Indian markets includes the likes of Jawa Standard, Forty-Two and Perak bobber while the resurrected Czech brand is also expected to launch the India-spec Jawa motorcycle in Europe by the end of this year.
