As per the latest details available, Jawa motorcycles will feature dual-channel ABS and rear disc brake by June 2019. The addition of these two features will result in a price increase of approx INR 10,000 for both the bikes. The rear disc brake costs INR 2,000-4,000 for installation while upgrading the ABS system may bring an additional hike of INR 2,000-5,000. The value mentioned here is what different brands generally charge for the 2 features. Jawa may not think of going over the value and will try its best to keep the prices competitive.
Jawa 42 is available in six shades and comes with a price tag of INR 1.55 lakh while Jawa 300 comes in three shades and costs INR 1.64 lakh. The availability of Jawa 300 in Black, Grey and Maroon finish is quite nostalgic for Indian fans while Jawa 42 in additional six shades is a clear bonus. Jawa Perak, the factory custom bobber model that will arrive later, comes with dual channel ABS and rear disc brake as standard. It will cost INR 1.89 lakh in 2019.
