As per the latest details available, the Jawa Perak Bobber is now expected to launch in India in early 2020. Earlier, the motorcycle was expected to launch in September 2019 but, due to the delay in the deliveries of the Classic 300 and Forty-Two, the launch of Perak will now most probably happen in January next year. The brand may start accepting pre-bookings for the same in November/December.
Perak is powered by a 334cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which is good for 30 HP of maximum power and 31 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Jawa Perak features blacked-out spoke rims, suspension parts, engine, and exhaust system to create an impressive profile for the Bobber. The motorcycle will come with 2-channel ABS as standard.
According to the official details available, the online bookings for the Jawa Classic and Forty-Two were closed after December 25 last year, and everyone booking the motorcycles offline at the dealerships have been asked to wait for 7-8 months for deliveries. In addition to this, the customers who have booked the motorcycles last year will be receiving the deliveries by September 2019.
The brand is working hard to commit to their promises and is planning to ramp up the production to meet the demand for the Classic 300 and Jawa 42. The brand believes in understanding the customer’s sentiments and are working hard to reduce the delivery time as much as possible. Jawa recently also commenced the deliveries of the dual-channel ABS models in the Indian market.
