Jawa Perak Bobber to Reportedly Launch in India on November 15

According to a recent report, Classic Legends has sent out media invites to celebrate the first anniversary of Jawa’s resurrection in the Indian market for the 15th of November. Commemorating the occasion, the brand will also be launching a surprise motorcycle at the event, which is expected to be the much-awaited Jawa Perak Bobber. The motorcycle was initially showcased at the re-launch of the brand in November 2018.

The official invite showcases the silhouette of the upcoming motorcycle that features a fuel tank with the signature Jawa branding while the floating saddle confirms the motorcycle to be the Jawa Perak Bobber. The retro-modern stance of the Bobber is something that sets it apart from the other two motorcycles in the Jawa portfolio while at the same time the factory-custom design and the powerful performance shrieks of the superiority.

Coming to the designing traits, the bobber has been equipped with an exclusive tire hugger in addition to getting a unique set of rearview mirrors. The impressive profile of the motorcycle is further enhanced by the use of blackened-out components including the suspension, exhaust as well as the spoked rims.

Powering the Jawa Perak bobber will be the 334cc, single-cylinder engine that is capable of generating a maximum power of 30HP and a peak torque of 31Nm. The engine will be further mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The transmission duties will be handled by telescopic forks at the front while the rear will be equipped with a monoshock unit.

The Jawa Perak Bobber will feature disc brakes at either end, which will be further mated to a dual-channel ABS unit as standard. Once launched in the country, the motorcycle is expected to be priced close to INR 2 lakh (ex-showroom).
