Jawa Signature Edition is the name for the first 100 motorcycles that the brand plans to auction in India for a cause. The Signature Edition comes with a tricolour livery on the fuel tank, a unique chassis number from 1 to 100 and custom fuel tank cap with engraved owner’s name. The auction will take place in Mumbai on March 29, 2019. The event starts at 7:30 PM and Jawa plans to donate every rupee earned from the auction for the education of children of the martyrs. The division of 100 units between the Jawa 300 and Forty-Two has not been revealed by the brand.
Apart from the Signature Edition, Jawa has also planned to give a call to the owners that have been shortlisted for the deliveries in the month of April 2019. The first wave on the internet showed Jawa Perak and compared the same to the Signature Edition tag but in reality, the brand has already cleared that Perak will not be even open for the bookings before the end of 2019. Jawa offers the privilege of owning the coffee table book for those who buy a Signature Edition model through the auction. They can also participate in exclusive events and would be notified for upcoming offers in advance.
The keynote from the brand also cleared that hitting the Jawa Signature Edition will be equally heavy on the heart as on the wallet. The auction is not just available offline as those who cannot arrive physically can go for online bidding and get their favourite bike. Those who wish to join online bidding can create a username and password by adding some personal details. The choice of chassis number will be asked in advance as it seems like Jawa will divide the bidders into different groups for easy handling of the process.
