The Jawa brand was reincarnated back in November 2018, where the company debuted the Jawa Classic and Forty Two motorcycles in the Indian market. Now, Classic Legends has officially launched its third product, the 2020 Jawa Perak Bobber, exactly after one year of its initial debut.
The customers can avail the Bobber at a price tag of INR 1,94,500 (ex-showroom) while the bookings of the motorcycle will commence in January 2020. The recently-surfaced live images of the motorcycle give the audience a clear insight into what to expect from one of the most unique offerings from the brand.
Powering the 2020 Jawa Perak Bobber is a BS6-compliant 334cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that is capable to generate a maximum power of 30HP and a peak torque of 31Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The motorcycle has been equipped with dual-channel ABS as standard while features disc brakes at either side. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic hydraulic forks at the front and a monoshock absorber at the rear. The Bobber features a seat height of 750mm while the wheelbase stands at 1485mm.
The brand has faced several disapprovals when it comes to late deliveries of the Forty Two and Classic, which is why they have officially announced a three-month booking cycle for motorcycles including the newly-launched Perak Bobber.
Once the brand registers enough bookings that can be delivered within three months, further bookings will only be entertained after all the customers have received their motorcycles. The deliveries of the Jawa Perak bobber will commence from April 2, 2020.
