The Jawa Classic 300 is one of the most popular bikes in the country. Its appearance and build quality mesmerise everyone. And to enhance its elegance, owners love to modify the bike according to their taste. One such illustration is the one we noticed on a YouTube channel named Live Rider. The owner of the motorcycle, Shashank Sharma, has made some interesting tweaks to the bike, such as the addition of alloy wheels, a windshield, and more.
After contacting the channel, we found that the Jawa Classic owner had taken the windshield from National Cycle and it costs approximately Rs 13,500. Besides this, he has made other installations such as a custom leg/crash guard and a custom handlebar, which costs Rs 4,000 and Rs 5,000, respectively.

Another significant modification is the conversion of spoke wheels to alloy wheels. The buyer has opted for MRF Meteor M tyres for both the front and rear. Also, the front tyre size is 80/100-18 instead of the stock 90/90-18, while the rear tyre size remains the stock one. Live Rider also mentioned that the official cost for the alloy wheels and fitting was a total of Rs 14,000; however, they got it done for Rs 9,000, which was on offer at that time.
The motorcycle you see here is a BS4 model and it is powered by a 293cc, single-cylinder, DOHC engine that is capable of offering maximum power of 27 HP and a peak torque of 28 Nm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. In comparison, the BS6-compliant model of Jawa Classic is powered by the same 293cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, DOHC engine which now generates 27.33 HP of maximum power and 27.02 Nm of peak torque.
