SRK Designs recently worked on a scrambler concept and the Jawa Forty Two served as a base for the same. The motorcycle is equipped with loads of components that Jawa may consider once they have a positive equation with the deliveries of its existing motorcycles. Jawa Forty Two scrambler features strict off-road tyres with thick tread and the same diameter as the stock version.
The front end of the bike is equipped with a raised fender and a different black headlight than the stock version. The front forks seen here are USD units with covers like a typical dual-purpose motorcycle. SRK Designs has digitally rendered the motorcycle by clearing the background image and applying parts from other potential options.
However, if Jawa officially plans on working on a scrambler, they will most probably miss on the premium equipment and keep the same conventional suspension with longer travel on the production-spec model. The concept by SRK Designs features a different rear end that supports metallic-finished side panel and shorter-than-ever rear fender.
The seat has even gone shorter with an independent floating taillight and long-travel suspension. The exhaust seen here is a custom unit while the fuel tank features a knee-supporting section while an engine guard has also been added for further all-terrain protection.

Jawa is using two different engines for their three products in India. The first engine features 293cc of displacement and produces 27HP of maximum power while the factory-custom 334cc engine is good for 30HP. The 6-speed transmission remains the same on both the engine options. The price range ofJawa products starts from INR 1.64 lakh for the base model of the Forty Two while goes all the way up to INR 1.95 lakh for the recently-launched Perak Bobber. The prices mentioned here are ex-showroom Delhi.
