India’s 1st Kawasaki Ninja 400 Delivered in Pune

First Kawasaki Ninja 400 Delivered: The new Ninja 400 was unveiled @ Tokyo Motor Show in 2017 and India has recently received its first ever unit in Pune after its official launch in April 2018. The bike shown in the images is unregistered at the moment.

Ninja 400 replaced the Ninja 300 in the International market but in India, it will be sold alongside Ninja 300 and will be available in limited units. Ninja 400 is priced at INR 4.69 Lakh in India, which is INR 1.09 Lakh more in comparison to the price of Ninja 300.

The sharper design with a trellis frame inspired from Ninja H2 and a full LED headlight are some of the modern features of the Ninja 400. It gets ZX-10R inspired LED tail lamp with sleek fairing, chin spoilers at the bottom of the front cowl and body panels equipped with turn indicators.

The headlight cluster and fuel tank have been revamped to give it an ultimate beast look. The wheelbase of 1,370 mm and the seat height of 785 mm is perfect to ride it comfortably. The suspension duties are handled by 41 mm telescopic forks in the front and an adjustable monoshock at the rear.

The bike is equipped with single semi-floating 310 mm petal type single disc brake at the front and a 220 mm petal type single disc brake at the rear with 2-channel ABS as standard.

Coming to the engine specifications, Kawasaki Ninja 400 is powered by 399 cc, parallel-twin cylinder engine that is capable of producing a power of 49 HP @ 10,000 rpm and 38 Nm of peak torque @ 8,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
