2019 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R India Launch Soon; Bookings Open

2019 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is now available for bookings in India, with token money for the supersport motorcycle being INR 1.50 lakh. The updated motorcycle is using a powerful engine, pushing the limits higher for Kawasaki fans with the jump in power value through revised components in its making.

The jump in power is 3HP in the standard variant, helping the motorcycle achieve 203HP of maximum power at 13,500 rpm. The redline for the motorcycle is now further extended by a considerable margin. The torque figure on the litre-class motorcycle is 114.9 Nm at 11,200 rpm.

2019 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R

Known as the 2020 Ninja ZX-10R worldwide, the upgraded machine’s standard variant weighs 208 kg. It can also be had in the KRT special edition paint scheme. Kawasaki has removed the last-gen variant of ZX-10R from the official website in India but, the existence of ZX-10RR variant clears that they have some stock for the track-specific motorcycle left on their side.

The 2019 variant of ZX-10RR is good for 204HP of maximum power and 115.7 Nm of maximum torque. Ninja ZX-10R comes with 120-section front and 190-section rear tyre, wrapped over lightweight wheels for a reduction in the total unsprung mass from the motorcycle.

2019 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R KRT Edition

The wheel travel is limited to 120mm at the front and 114mm at the rear, resulting in a tighter steering feel and well-planted riding throughout the circuits. The official mileage for the model has not been released while getting anything above 10 kmpl on regular traffic-filled roads seems impossible from the 998cc, inline-4 engine.

The braking department is handled by 330mm dual discs with Brembo M50 monobloc callipers for the front and 220mm disc at the rear. The 43mm balance-free USD front forks further help the responsive chassis to add life to the riding feel. The ex-showroom price tag for the motorcycle is expected to fall above INR 15 lakh as most brands have already raised the pricing for their litre-class motorcycles in India.
