2019 Kawasaki Z900 and Versys 650 are now officially available in India for INR 7.68 lakh and INR 6.69 lakh respectively. The price point remains exactly the same for both these bikes as the older versions, bringing just a little change in the form of new shades. The Z900 now comes in Metallic Moondust Gray / Ebony, Pearl Flat Stardust White / Metallic Spark Black and Metallic Flat Spark Black / Metallic Spark Black shade option while the adventure specific Versys 650 comes in Metallic Moondust Gray / Metallic Flat Spark Black shade. All these shades are dual tone by nature.
The red shade out of them comes with matching alloy wheel finish and red frame for the most eye-catchy street bike experience. The four-cylinder engine on the Z900 is the most powerful motor in its class, further looking beautiful with quad chrome exhaust pipes and black exhaust with chrome heat protector. The rear seat may feel thin in comparison to the Z1000 but, the price tag associated with Z900 had made it one among the bestselling Kawasaki bikes of all time. Both other color variants are offered with green finished frame and black alloy wheels.
Kawasaki Versys 650, on the other hand, is available with a black frame and features a white upper section of the fuel tank. The use of USD forks on both products helps riders claim unmatched control on their ride. The 649cc, 2-cylinder engine on the Versys 650 is good for 69 PS at 8500 rpm and 64 Nm at 7000 rpm. The bigger 948cc, 4-cylinder engine produces 125 PS of untamed power and 98.6 Nm of torque at just 7700 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The premium component list and high output engine of Z900 make it more powerful than Street Triple and GSX-S750.
