The 2020 Kawasaki W175 Cafe has been recently introduced by the brand in the Indonesian markets. The updated motorcycle is available to the customers at a similar price tag as that of its last-gen variant which stands at IDR 33,800,000 (INR 1.56 lakh). The brand has finally taken the covers off the 2020 variant of the W175 Cafe while the customers are also eagerly waiting for the launch of Ninja ZX-25R which is next on the launch list.
Coming to the MY2020 updates, the brand has offered the cafe racer from its “W” series with three new colour schemes namely Black, Orange and Silver which replaces the colour palette of the 2019 variant. Apart from the addition of new colours, the motorcycle remains identical to its last avatar.
The retro-classic design of the 2020 Kawasaki W175 cafe is accentuated by a single-piece handlebar with a short visor at the front. The brand has equipped the motorcycle with front fork gaiters and upright rearview mirrors. In addition to this, the cafe racer features a blacked-out engine as well as the exhaust system. The motorcycle further features a cafe racer-inspired single-seat saddle while the rear profile has been offered a sporty outlook.
The 2020 Kawasaki W175 Cafe is powered by the same 177cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is capable of offering maximum power of 13HP @ 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 13.2Nm @ 6,000 rpm. The engine remains mated to a 5-speed transmission. The motorcycle still lacks a fuel injection system while the kerb weight and the fuel tank capacity stands at 126 kg and 13.5 litres respectively.
The brand was expected to launch the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R on April 4, 2020, though the recent coronavirus pandemic situation has delayed the launch indefinitely. More details on the Ninja ZX-25R motorcycle are expected to be revealed shortly by the brand.
