The Wait is Over! 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 400 India Launch Tomorrow

Kawasaki has just launched the Ninja 400 and Z400 bikes in the international markets, and now it has teased the Ninja 400 in our country as well. The bike was discontinued in India after the implementation of BS6 norms. Not only that, but the sales rate of the Kawasaki Ninja 400 was also minimal during that time. The bike is now ready to make a spectacular comeback, thanks to new emission standards compatibility and a slew of cosmetic and feature updates.

The prevailing bikemaker has offered the bike in two vibrant shades called Lime Green/Ebony (KRT Edition) and Metallic Carbon Gray/Metallic Matte Carbon Gray. This colour scheme complements the overall design language of the bike. Kawasaki knows that in the Indian two-wheeler market, the Ninja 400 has its own place and speed enthusiasts love this bike. They are few in number, though.

This Euro5 and BS6-compliant bike is powered by a 399cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, DOHC 8-valve engine that comes mated with a 6-speed gearbox and has the capability of churning out 44.8 HP at 10,000 rpm and 37 Nm at 8000 rpm. Built on a trellis frame, the Kawasaki Ninja 400 is suspended on 41mm telescopic forks at the front and a gas-charged adjustable mono-shock at the rear.

The sports bike rides on 17-inch wheels, which are clothed in 110/70 units at the front and 150/60 size tyres at the rear. It’s worth mentioning here that Kawasaki has just announced that the updated 400cc bike is coming on June 24, 2022 (tomorrow). The pricing details will also be out with the official debut, but we can assume the bike will be offered with a starting price tag of Rs 4.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
