India Gets Its 1st Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R - Price Rs 11 Lakh!

In the Indian two-wheeler market, Kawasaki now has a diverse range of motorcycles. There are still some Kawasaki motorcycles that are not available in India. While the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R has yet to arrive in India, someone has already imported one.

Samy Ghosh (@beerbiker_samy) of Kolkata recently imported a brand-new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R. It is said to be India’s first and only Ninja ZX-25R. It is the world’s smallest motorcycle with an inline-four-cylinder engine on the market. In Indonesia, it costs RP 105 million (approximately Rs 5.56 lakh).

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R could have cost Ghosh more than Rs 11 lakh due to heavy import tax. Ghosh also owns both previous-generation and current-generation Ninja ZX-10R models.

This estimated price appears expensive for a motorcycle with a quarter-litre engine. Because the Ninja ZX-10R, Kawasaki’s litre-class monster, costs Rs 15.99 lakh. Despite having a much lower performance than the Ninja ZX-10R, the Ninja ZX-25R is a special motorcycle.

The fully-faired Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R differs from the Ninja 250 sold elsewhere. Its bodywork is inspired by larger track-oriented Ninjas such as the ZX-6R and ZX-10R. It is powered by a four-stroke, inline-four, liquid-cooled 249.8cc engine.

The Ninja ZX-25R claims to be the most powerful 250cc motorcycle in the world right now. It generates a max power output of 51 PS and a peak torque output of 22.9 Nm.

The Ninja ZX-25R, like other Kawasaki motorcycles, is outfitted with high-quality components. It comes with fully-adjustable upside-down front telescopic forks and BFRC mono-shock from Showa. There is currently no direct competitor to the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R. Because it is the only motorcycle with an inline-four 250cc engine. But in performance figures, it competes with motorcycles such as the Honda CBR500R and Kawasaki’s own Ninja 400.
