Kawasaki Bikes @ Auto Expo 2018 | Ninja 400, Ninja H2 SX to Make India Debut

Kawasaki Bikes at Auto Expo 2018: Kawasaki India will be the most awaited brand at Auto Expo 2018. They are one among top selling superbike brands, leading right behind Harley Davidson with almost half the sales as the American brand. They have this right chance to get some more popularity as Harley Davidson will miss this event.

Also, the introduction of Vulcan S at INR 5.44 lakh (ex-showroom) means straight competition to Street 750 in India. Street Rod, which carries the same engine, also comes into its rival section. Leaving cruisers and highly expensive bikes behind, focus of Kawasaki would be on the upcoming Ninja 400.

Kawasaki Ninja 400 will make India Debut @ Auto Expo 2018

The motorcycle is now based on the lighter platform and seems to be a replacement for India spec Ninja 300. The 399cc, twin cylinder engine on Ninja 400 is good for 45 HP at 10,000 rpm and 38 Nm at 8,000 rpm. This makes it powerful than all other motorcycles present under 400cc segment.

KTM RC 390 will also lose its throne when Ninja 400 gets launched in India. Pricing is expected to stay closer to present generation Ninja 300 and ABS would be the most important addition on this motorcycle. It will also be the lightest of all at just 168 kg.

Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX | Kawasaki Bikes at Auto Expo 2018

Apart from Ninja 400, Kawasaki H2 SX is another most awaited product at Auto Expo 2018. It would be the first supercharged tourer of India, getting an expect price tag of under INR 30 lakh. The engine is tuned for better practical power delivery but figures are even better than Ninja H2.

The bike gains weight due to added accessories and stiffened rear frame for the pillion seat. Kawasaki’s present range starts with Z250 at INR 3.08 lakh while goes up to INR 69.80 lakh for track spec Ninja H2R. They will soon start local production for the entry level models in India.
