Kawasaki Motorcycles Yearly Sales Report: Kawasaki had a great year with FY 2018-19 proving that most bikes on their side carry more potential than expected by their rivals. The total number of units registered by Kawasaki India is 3,114 and this number is bigger than what UM sold during the same period. The number could go further if they add more bikes to the localization channel, dropping the prices for many options by a considerable margin in the future.
Kawasaki Ninja 300 is the best selling product while Ninja ZX-14R holds the title of being the worst among all. The latter was discontinued in the middle of FY 2018-19, along with the Z250, Z1000, and the last-gen litre-class Versys adventure tourer. Ninja 300 bagged 1,160 units while the second bestseller from the list was Ninja 650 with 463 units.
The place could have been bagged by Ninja 400 but, the high pricing made the fact a surety that it would never get the same response from the buyers. Kawasaki Z900 and Ninja 1000 took the next two positions with 444 and 332 units respectively. These four form the bulk of Kawasaki sales, with others like Z650, Ninja 400, and Vulcan S having a three-digit sales number.
The others with a successful story include ZX-6R (84 units in a few months) and Ninja H2 (11 units). The latter is the most expensive motorcycle of its type and rivals a few options only. Here is a complete list of Kawasaki bikes with their yearly sales number.
