Braking duties are handled by Bosch 9.1 ABS unit in addition to dual 300 mm front and single 220 mm rear disc brake. Kawasaki India is presently using the CKD route for Ninja 650’s import while one can expect a locally produced version to launch soon in India.
A brand new design for Kawasaki Ninja 250 and Ninja 400 was shown internationally, hinting at an all new Ninja 300 for India in the coming months. If local production if opted earlier, they can even bring both 250 and 400 in India by discontinuing Ninja 300 from Indian market. Ninja 650 weighs just 193 kg, making it much lighter and responsive than its predecessor. It carries a 15 liter fuel tank and rivals Honda CBR650F in India.
