Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R Sold Out in India: Ninja ZX-10R became an overnight success story for the brand. The locally assembled SuperSport machine carries a price tag of INR 12.8 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The company has received around 100 bookings for the motorcycle since its price reduction due to the local assembly.
The number is larger than all current generation Ninja ZX-10R sold till date in India. Kawasaki may restart the booking procedure in three months as delivery and production speed won't match in the initial months.

They are expected to bring more models through the CKD route for better placement and sales number. Kawasaki lineup is strangled between CBU and CKD route for different products. They have certain high selling products in the CKD section, and all this comes true due to their effective price tags.
Ninja 1000 is a successful product with INR 9.99 lakh worth price tag, while Z1000 stays a failure with a much higher INR 15.10 lakh price tag. Z900 is priced at just INR 7.68 lakh, while Z900 RS commands an out of this world price tag of INR 15.30 lakh. The game revolves around taxes and brands are defending themselves in the best possible manner by switching the import process.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is one of the most powerful motorcycles with 200 HP of max power and class-leading electronic features. The most value for money product rivals Honda CBR1000RR in India, both being separated by a price gap of INR 2 lakh.
Other liter class bikes are priced much higher than this point. ZX-10R comes with cornering management system, launch control, traction control, power modes and much more than a similarly priced machine. Those looking for pillion seat on the motorcycle will need to spend INR 38,000 extra on the amount as CKD kits are shipped with a rear cowl from the exporting country.
