The all-new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R, which is slated to be launched in February 2022 in the Japanese market, has been unveiled officially. As part of the most recent update, the motorcycle now comes with some cosmetic upgrades. The manufacturer has offered the bike with a new Metallic Matte Twilight Blue colour choice. The new Twilight Blue colour has red and white highlights, as well as grey logos on the fairing. Aside from that, the bike remained unchanged.
When it comes to design and features, the new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R comes equipped with full-LED lighting for the headlamp and tail lamp, traction control, two power modes, a USB charging port, and a quick shifter, to name a few.
Powering the Ninja ZX-25R is the same 249cc, four-cylinder engine that is capable of generating 45HP of maximum power and 22.9 Nm of peak torque. It is also one of the most powerful quarter-litre motorcycles currently on the market. The company has also included a RAM air intake option, which raises the power output to a total of 51 HP. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission with assist and a slipper clutch.
The suspension duties are assigned to a 37mm Showa SFF-BP front USD forks and a rear mono-shock, and the braking system consists of a single 310mm front disc with a radially mounted monobloc calliper and a 220mm rear disc. While it will be available in Japan starting next month, the 2022 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R is unlikely to be launched in India anytime soon.
