The most anticipated Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R was all set to be launched in Indonesia on April 4, 2020, but the ongoing coronavirus scare has made the officials delay the launch. However, the brand has officially revealed the Ninja ZX-25R Racer Model to keep the fans on their toes and to lessen the disappointment. The custom race track variant of the motorcycle has been specifically designed by Kawasaki Motor Japan while the brand is expected to launch the Race Series sometime in the next year.
The brand is further expected to launch the Ninja ZX-25R Racer Model in Japan by the end of this year while one can expect it to offer a thrilling performance on the race track. The reports further suggest that Kawasaki has churned out the Racer Model of the upcoming 249cc 4-cylinder Ninja ZX-25R to make the enthusiasts aware of its high circuit potential as well as the thrilling performance it is expected to offer.
Coming to the design language, the brand has offered the racer version of the motorcycle with various high-performance features in addition to offering carbon fibre body panels which offers it a premium outlook. The Ninja ZX-25R Racer Model will only be a track-specific, road-illegal variant though one can expect the brand to offer it with a list of additional addons.
The motorcycle variant has been devoid of all street-legal bits which include the likes of headlights, taillight, indicators as well as rear-view mirrors and the number plate. The carbon fibre detailing is carried on to the body panels while the Dunlop race-spec tyres have been offered to make it rather agile.
Some of the key premium components of the Ninja ZX-25R Racer Model include A-TECH full cowling, seat cowling and tank pad, a Beet NASSERT-R Evolution Type II exhaust system and Dunlop Sportmax Alpha-13SP tyres. The front and rear suspension units have been sourced from Showa while the chain is RK BL520R-XW.
The brand has not yet revealed the performance specs of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R Racer Model though one can expect it to offer a high power output specific for the race track.
