Young Machine Magazine (Japan) has printed a complete rendered image of the upcoming Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R in one of their unreleased publications. The leaked rendered photo has been uploaded online by a Twitter user. According to the reports, the quarter-litre four-cylinder motorcycle will be officially unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in October 2019 while the much-awaited sportbike will go on sale in 2020.
The design of the Ninja ZX-25R seems to be inspired by its litre-class sibling ZX-10R while the in-line four-cylinder engine will keep it ahead in comparison to the competition when it comes to the twin-cylinder engine rivals. Complimenting its legacy, the ZX-25R features a twin-pod headlight at the front and gets a RAM air-intake at the centre.
The brand is expected to equip the sports motorcycle with an all-LED headlight in order to keep up the premium stance. The motorcycle will also feature another air-intake at the top corner of the fairing. The rendering also specifies the use of Ninja 300 alike blinkers on the ZX-25R.
The four-cylinder Euro-V compliant engine equipped on the upcoming 250cc sportbike can be clearly seen through the transparent area in one of the rendered images. Kawasaki offers 39HP of maximum power and 23.5 Nm of torque with its Ninja 250 though, considering the four-cylinder engine used on the ZX-25R, it will surely offer better power and torque output values.
The suspension duties will be handled by upside-down forks at the front and an adjustable monoshock at the rear. Dual discs with radially mounted callipers will perform the braking duties on the ZX-25R. As per the rumours, the 4-cylinder 250cc motorcycle is likely to get ride-by-wire technology for offering multiple riding modes. The bike once launched in India is likely to be priced at around INR 4.00-4.50 lakhs (ex-showroom) and will be imported as a CKD unit.
