Kawasaki offering heavy discounts in India
Kawasaki is offering discounts up to INR 1 lakh on its locally assembled range that are BS3 compliant. As these bikes could not be on sale after 31 March 2017, they only have limited number of days to clear the stock from their inventories. This is possibly the best offer that can be had in the motorcycle segment in 2017. Surprisingly, the price of Kawasaki Ninja 300 saw no change in these days as well. The bikes under this limited time offer includes Ninja 650, ER-6N and Z250.
The on-road price for Kawasaki Ninja 650 in Delhi has been reduced to INR 4.86 lakh while ER-6N can be had for INR 4.42 lakh. Not just that, Kawasaki Z250 is now the most affordable twin cylinder motorcycle of India. It can be had for INR 3 lakh (on-road Delhi) while rivals are well above this price point. The same trend can be seen among many other brands in coming days. The Z250 uses a 249cc, twin cylinder engine producing 31.5 BHP and 21 Nm of torque. It uses a 6-speed gearbox.
Kawasaki Ninja 650 and ER-6N are powered by the same 649cc, twin cylinder engine producing 71 BHP at 8500 rpm and 64 Nm at 7000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. They were the best options to consider when moving on to the superbike class product from a smaller motorcycle. The prices have even made it better than before. The one who was getting ready for a new Ninja 300 could now jump to the next big thing (Ninja 650) by putting out an extra amount of under INR 1 lakh.
