2019 Kawasaki Versys 1000 Launched in India @ INR 10.69 Lakh

2019 Kawasaki Versys 1000 is now officially available in India for INR 10.69 lakh, getting cosmetic changes to feel more in-line with the updated Ninja series. The brand was already accepting the booking in India with a token amount of INR 1.50 lakh. The adventure tourer is amazingly designed to get Ninja-inspired headlights and raised fascia, further detailing new panels that have integrated daytime running lights and indicators. The seats are huge, shouting comfort from every bit of the material used in their production. The SE variant has been missed from the Indian market.

The engine is still shared with Z1000, carrying 1043cc displacement and 120 HP of peak power with 102 NM of maximum torque. The engine comes with ride by wire for cruise control, power modes and traction control on the Versys 1000. The suspension offers long travel on the motorcycle while coloured TFT console, cornering lights, and self-healing paint are other prominent features. The motorcycle comes with Pearl Flat Stardust White / Metallic Flat Spark Black shade as standard.

Apart from the KX and KLX range, Versys is the only nameplate that tackles every sort of surface with ease. The all-terrain ability is further complemented by a huge front windshield for uninterrupted highway riding. The motorcycle can be fitted with a large number of accessories, especially those like fog lights and engine protector for enhanced riding experience. The smartphone integration feature further raises practical quotient for the litre-class tourer.

In stock condition, the motorcycle is available with alloy wheels. Buyers can get them tubeless, spoke wheels for more off-road action. The dual 28-litre saddlebags and heated grips were two additional features for the SE variant and thus, can be bought as an option with the motorcycle. Kawasaki now has three variants for the Versys brand, with X300 being the most affordable variant with a price tag of INR 4.69 lakh (ex-showroom).
