Kawasaki Dealer Offering Flat INR 5 Lakh Cash Discount on Z1000

Kawasaki Z1000 is available with a mouth-watering discount worth INR 5 lakh from a dealership in Delhi. The bike (yes, just one piece remaining) mentioned in this offer is manufactured in 2017 and thus, comes with this huge reduction in price. Priced at INR 15.10 lakh, Z1000 is the most aggressive street specific motorcycle that one can buy from the Japanese manufacturer. All warranty and servicing packages will remain the same as 2018 variants for this example. It seems like the slow-selling machine is ready to enter the CKD club this year.

Flat INR 5 Lakh Cash Discount on Kawasaki Z1000

Z1000 sold 2 units in December 2017 and not just that, the entire year had a similar pattern of either 2 or zero units in respective months, leaving dealers with a considerable amount of stock for 2018. In the first half of 2018, Kawasaki Z1000 was good for 7 units. This is not because of the capability but, buyers feel that getting a faired Ninja 1000 at INR 9.99 lakh is a smarter deal. Now, they effective INR 10.10 lakh price tag can justify the existence of this last example. Kawasaki will bring Z900 RS (INR 15.30 lakh) and Z1000 into the CKD lineup.

Kawasaki Z1000 carries a 1043cc, four cylinders, liquid cooled and fuel injected engine, producing 142 HP and 111 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. In comparison, the Z900 produces just 125 HP and 98.6 Nm of torque. Design lines are totally different on both these bikes as Z1000 shows loads of more aggression in comparison to the smaller option. Being brought through the CKD route, Z900 enjoys a favorable price point while Z1000 commands a huge premium. Confused fans would love to know that Z1000 is technically more advanced.

They have reduced the pricing for a select range of bikes in India and soon, others will also follow the same track to bring the total range down to a much more accessible point. Kawasaki India is the second largest superbike brand in India after Harley Davidson, leaving behind rivals like Suzuki, Yamaha, and Honda in terms of performance bike sales. The range starts from INR 2.98 lakh (without discounts) and goes up to INR 72 lakh in India. Kawasaki will soon also begin local production for entry-level and mid-range bikes in India.
