Matte Gold Kawasaki Ninja 250 Spotted in Indonesia: The quarter-litre Ninja 250 sports bike has been offered an all-new custom matte gold finish by Indonesia’s Surabaya Kawasaki dealership. The mild yet extraordinary makeover also includes custom graphics on the fairing in addition to a new paint job.

While the Ninja 250 has been offered a complete matte gold look, the contrast fairing in addition to the blackened panel gives the motorcycle a distinguished stance. The lower panel of the motorcycle has been equipped with a golden Kawasaki sticker that goes against the black colour beautifully.

The fuel tank of the sports bike gets a Ninja branding at the edges. Considering that there is no official matte gold paint scheme offered by the brand, the custom look offered to the Ninja 250 appears to be a wrap.

The modifications offered to the motorcycle are limited to cosmetic changes. Mechanically, the Kawasaki Ninja 250 remains unaltered. Powering the sports bike is the same 249cc parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, fuel-injected engine capable of churning out a maximum power of 39 HP at 12,500 rpm and a peak torque of 23.5 Nm at 10,000rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The suspension duties are handled by conventional telescopic forks at the front while the rear of the motorcycle gets a monoshock absorber. The brand has equipped the motorcycle with dual-channel ABS while the braking power is offered by disc brakes at either end. As of now, Kawasaki has no plans to launch the new model of Ninja 250 in the Indian market. At present, the Kawasaki lineup starts at INR 2.98 lakh (ex-showroom) for the locally-assembled Ninja 300.
