New 250cc Kawasaki Motorcycle Launched in India – Report

India Kawasaki Motors has announced the arrival of the KX250 in our market in 2023. Kawasaki has made several technical changes to this motorcycle for 2023. The engine has been upgraded to a 249cc liquid-cooled four-stroke engine. It improves performance throughout the rev range. Kawasaki claims it is the most powerful KX250 ever created.

This motorcycle also receives new gearing and suspension adjustments. New tyres are designed to provide better cornering performance. A longer exhaust header pipe, lighter and wider footpegs, and advanced ignition timing are among the other changes.

The motor has finger-follower valve actuation, revised intake and exhaust port throat processing. A higher rate for valve spring to match a higher rev limit and a revised combustion chamber design. A revised crankcase design, a flatter piston crown, and a hydraulic clutch. It also includes a launch control mode and three engine map options.

The KX250’s hardware consists of an aluminium perimeter frame and a petal disc brake. Renthal Fatbar, ERGO FIT adjustable handle and footpeg positions, and slimmer shrouds.

This track-only motorcycle will only be available in Lime Green. It will be imported through the completely built-up route. Bookings have begun and the deliveries are set for the second week of November 2022. The KX250 is available from Kawasaki for Rs 7.99 lakh ex-showroom.
